Your use of the software is limited to the country where you were charged for the purchase of the software. However, if you have been charged in one of the Member States of the European Union, you can make it available without restriction in one of the Member States, subject to the terms of the approved licence model and the terms of that licence. Depending on the model used to calculate the applicable fees you pay for the use of the Software (whether by processor, virtual machine, user or any other VMware-approved license model), an applicable software license key may limit your use of the software accordingly. You can use the documentation attached to the Software in relation to the authorized use of the Software. If the software is a version that you converted or exchanged of an earlier version under a valid license, you agree not to use the previous version using the software.
VMware reserves the right to require certification of the destruction of this earlier version of the software. VMware Player is free for personal, non-commercial use. VMware grants you a non-exclusive long-term license for the use of the Software and, regardless of the case in a specific software product, to create and use an unlimited number of copies of the Software, exclusively for educational, educational and non-commercial purposes of your university institute or research.
